The specific scope of work for your project will be outlined in your estimate or work order.

Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided by Monaco Metalworks are based on the information available at the time of the assessment. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted.

Final pricing may differ from the original estimate if:

  • Site conditions differ from what was described or observed during the initial assessment
  • The client requests changes to the scope of work after the estimate is approved
  • Hidden damage, structural issues, or unforeseen complications are discovered during the project
  • Material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the start of work

We will communicate any pricing changes to you before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your estimate or work order. In general:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins, especially for custom fabrication projects requiring material purchases
  • Final payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Invoices not paid within 30 days of completion may be subject to a late fee

Warranty & Liability

Monaco Metalworks stands behind the quality of our work. We offer a workmanship warranty on all welding and fabrication projects. The specific warranty period will be discussed with you based on the type of work performed.

Our warranty covers defects in our workmanship, including weld failure under normal use conditions. It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear, rust, or corrosion (unless a protective coating was included in the scope of work)
  • Failure of pre-existing materials or structures that we welded to or repaired
  • Damage caused by accidents, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific work in question. Monaco Metalworks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Safety & Access

Welding and metal fabrication involve inherent hazards including heat, sparks, fumes, and heavy materials. For everyone's safety:

  • The client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • The work area must be cleared of flammable materials, debris, and obstructions before we arrive
  • Children, pets, and unauthorized individuals must be kept away from the work zone during active welding
  • For mobile welding jobs, the client must ensure adequate space and ventilation at the work site
  • If site conditions are deemed unsafe, Monaco Metalworks reserves the right to pause or decline work until conditions are corrected

Monaco Metalworks carries appropriate insurance for our operations. The client is responsible for any permits required for the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for scheduled appointments
  • Cancellations made after materials have been purchased may be subject to a restocking fee or material cost
  • Custom fabrication projects that are already in progress cannot be fully refunded, but we will work with you to find a fair resolution
  • Deposits for custom work may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or fabrication has begun

Intellectual Property

Any custom designs, drawings, or fabrication plans created by Monaco Metalworks remain our intellectual property unless a written agreement states otherwise.

We may photograph completed projects for use in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing. No personally identifying information will be shared without your permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
